Instant Dog Training Videos
Review
I love my dogs - all 3 of them. But
I have to admit, there is always a bad apple in any bunch,
and Simon was just such rogue in my pack of otherwise
well-behaved dogs. Simon did everything that you can
imagine a bad dog would: he would dig out my wife’s tulip
bulbs and plant elsewhere, bite friendly hands offered by
guests, chewed my favorite Italian loafers to shreds, and
when scolded, he would simply run away from home for a few
hours until things cooled down.

But after trying out the Instant Dog
Training videos online, I began to see results by simply
doing what I saw the trainer in the film do. And the first
one that I tried was “Nipping and Biting,” which happened to
be #8 in the series. We had to do something with Simon, as
he was even starting to “bite the hands that fed him,” and
was headed for the pound (or a dog shrink) if he kept it
up.
After working with Simon for just one
weekend, using the two commands called “bite inhibition”
that the trainer Debbie uses on her dogs, Simon improved.
That was encouraging and cut down on the number of screams
of “Simon bit me” from our smaller children around the
house.
On the next weekend I tried the
Instant-Access Video 9, “Chewing on Things.” I never knew
that there were so many other things that you could offer a
dog to chew on besides my very expensive work shoes. Debbie
explained the chewing habits of dogs in a very clear and
concise way, and once I got the picture, I gave that picture
to Simon. We practiced all that week, and by day 5, he was
happy to chew on his rawhide bone (1$) and was leaving my
loafers ($100+) alone.
Weekend 3 we tried out Instant-Access
Video 6, “Dog Running Away” as even though Simon was no
longer biting the kids or chewing up shoes, he was running
away every time I wanted to practice the skills learnt from
watching the Instant Dog Training videos. So we worked on
Debbie’s technique called invisible fences. Once those were
established in just a few days, Simon became manageable in
that regard.
Well, weekend 4 rolled around and to tell
you the truth, I was much more exhausted then Simon was when
it came to training. But the improvements in his behavior
spurred me on. I powered up the netbook and the WiFi and
reviewed “Problems with Digging,” Video 7, three times while
Simon and I trained in the backyard. The other dogs sat
around watching, bemused and afraid to go anywhere near
Simon’s previous holes. But now, 3 weeks after that, we can
see no new potholes where the tulips are now blooming.

So while I only got through 4 of the 10
Instant Dog Training videos online, I feel this package is
worth the money.
And besides the obvious know-how of Debbie
the trainer – Debbie has over 30 years of experience - being
able to access the videos on my home WiFi and new netbook
anytime of the day, was also a big plus in my “note”
book.
