My interest is always peaked when I get the chance to learn a few secrets of any kind, so when we started selling this item: Secrets to Dog Training & Stop your Dog’s Behavior Problems I was immediately interested.  This eBook - Video - Software package by Trainer Daniel Stevens has been downloaded by over 64 000 other dog owners, so I figured it must be worthy of a look.

This comprehensive package comes with the main eBook as well as many other smaller eBooks, video and audio books.  The eBooks are full of color photographs and with step-by-step instructions that cover the entire gamut of dog ownership and obedience training, from puppy to adult doghood. Then there is an upgrade option to the standard package that adds a series of videos plus some cool software. After resolving that sticky problem, another eBook and one of the upgrade videos caught my attention.  These focused on a topic that I had not yet read up on: Alpha Dog training. These little gems were really interesting in the sense it made me think more about my own behavior then my dogs.  I realized that there were so many subtle things that I could do in my day-to-day interactions with my dogs to cue them to the fact that I am the alpha dog, and not any one of them.  For example, just waiting to feed the dogs until after I had eaten, and feeding them later (and making them see it was indeed later), seemed to curb my dog’s desire to eat off my plate as soon as dinner was served at the family table. I think this information on how to become the Alpha dog in my house was worth the price of the upgrade!
